Child and Youth Counselling

Helping Young People Find Their Voice

I work with children (8–12) and teens (13–18) to support emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. Together, we explore underlying struggles and develop healthy coping and self-expression.

  • School-related stress and social challenges

  • Anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation

  • Grief, loss, and major life changes

  • Behavioral concerns and family relationships

  • ADHD, neurodivergence, and focus strategies

  • Self-esteem, confidence, and social skills

Collaborative Approach:
Initial parent intake ensures alignment on goals, and occasional family sessions help strengthen home support and lasting change.

EMDR

Processing Difficult Experiences

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) has been shown to helps individual process distressing memories and experiences safely. It supports PTSD, anxiety, grief, and challenging emotional patterns.

What to Expect:
Guided sessions to help your brain reprocess difficult experiences, reduce distress, and build strategies for coping. EMDR is tailored to your pace and comfort, and can be combined with other counselling approaches.
